As much as this camp helps our young men discover the world around them, it is even more important for them to learn HOW to discover themselves. With introductions to painting, spoken word, drawing, photography, film making and more, campers learn to utilize these mediums to answer three key questions that help them uncover who they are and what they want to become.

Curriculum Designed By: Jevoid Simmons, Sugar Creek Folk Art

Essential Questions: Who are you? What are your hopes and dreams? What do you want the world to know about you?

Experiential Learning: Campers are given an introduction to the many different forms of artistic expression at the start of camp and then get the opportunity to experiment with each over the next three weeks of camp.

Art Show: At the end of camp, each young man will display or perform his chosen artistic expression as he answer one of the three essential questions.
